Cinema attracts me because it connects all kinds of art and creates space for analysis and perception. In my lectures, I try to show how history, culture and the socio-political situation set new meanings and possible interpretations of films. I like to dive into the cinema, uncover the double bottom and understand not "what the author wanted to say", but what the film says about the viewer, his personality. And that's what I teach the others. My goal is to give people tools that will help them unravel meanings, read mysterious symbols and get even more pleasure from watching, comprehending and discussing films.
